[WooCommerce] Native UI Product Upsell Carousel

The Product Upsell Carousel is an optional feature of the Native UI that increases the order value of your Scheduled Orders by making it easy for subscribers to add a new item when viewing their Scheduled Order in My Account.

How to display the Product Upsell Carousel

The Product Upsell Carousel can be enabled for WooCommerce stores using the Native UI to display Scheduled Orders to customers in My Account.

To enable the Product Upsell Carousel to display, log into your WordPress Admin and navigate to the Autoship Cloud Options tab ( WP-Admin > Autoship Cloud > Settings >> Options (tab) ) scroll down to the section Displaying Scheduled Orders in My Account and check the option for Enable to display the Product Upsell Carousel.

How to populate the Carousel with upsell products

The Product Upsell Carousel will automatically include products linked in WooCommerce as Upsells to the items already included in the customer's Scheduled Order, and are also enabled for customers to add to their Scheduled Order.


If there are no products linked in WooCommerce as Upsells that are also enabled for customers to add to their Scheduled Order, then the carousel will not display at all.


To ensure your Carousel populates with Upsells, confirm that your WooCommerce Products contain 1 or more Upsells in the Edit Product View > Product Data >> Linked Products (tab).

How customers use the Upsell Carousel

Customers can select the following actions for each product displayed in Upsell Carousel:

  1. Add
    1. Adds the upsell product as a recurring item to their Scheduled Order and reloads the view so the customer can see their updated Scheduled Order. The added upsell product will no longer be displayed in the Upsell Carousel after it is added to the Scheduled Order.
  2. Add One-Time
    1. Adds the upsell product as a "one-time" item to their Scheduled Order and reloads the view so the customer can see their updated Scheduled Order. The added upsell product will no longer be displayed in the Upsell Carousel after it is added to the Scheduled Order.
    2. One-Time items will only be included the on the next processing cycle for the Scheduled Order. After the processing cycle is completed successfully, the item will no longer be included on the Scheduled Order and can be displayed in the Upsell Carousel again.
