[WooCommerce] Install and Launch Quick Guide
What do I need to get started?
The Autoship Cloud powered by QPilot pluginis free to download! However, you will need to ensure your site has several things first. As outlined here Autoship Cloud Site Requirements, you will need:
- Access to your site as a WordPress Admin
- A secure URL
- An accessible, healthy WooCommerce REST API
- Recommended: A working WooCommerce Checkout
If you meet these requirements, then you can start testing! We recommend that you test the Autoship Cloud plugin on a staging site if at all possible. You can learn more about this process here: 1. Before you install the plugin.
How Do I Get Started?
Launching Autoship Cloud on your site can be completed in a series of short and easy steps! We recommend that you go through these steps before looking at any customizations or additional features.
Step 1: Install the free Autoship Cloud plugin and then Connect your Site To QPilot
What Is QPilot and why do you need to connect to it? QPilot is the hosted service and team that powers the Autoship Cloud plugin for WooCommerce. By connecting your site to QPilot, you can create and manage Scheduled Orders & repeat deliveries at future dates for products and SKUs that you already sell online.

Step 3: Start Setting Up The Plugin!
Setting up your plugin includes enabling products for Autoship, setting up shipping rates, adding a payment integration.
A. Enabling Products
This requires 3 steps:
- Activate to sync
- Enable Autoship display
- Enable availability for Scheduled Orders
Common Question: I've enabled my products but they are showing as disabled in Scheduled Orders? This is likely because step 3 of enabling products was missed or the product is out of stock.
Common Question: How do I offer a discounted price to Autoship customers?
B. Review Autoship Cloud Shipping Rates
Autoship Cloud automatically offers a free shipping rate for all Scheduled Orders. If you want to set this up differently, you can review this step here: 5. Testing Shipping Rates.

Common Question: Why do I need to add Shipping Rates in Autoship Cloud, can I use my WooCommerce Shipping Rates?
C. Add a Payment Integration
Autoship Cloud works with many payment integrations as listed here: Payment Integrations. In order to process Scheduled Orders you will need to add one of these integrations as outlined here:
By adding a payment integration, your customer can save payment methods at checkout and apply them to Scheduled Orders. This tokenized payment method will be charged when the Scheduled Order is processing in the future.
